(1) Of the amount donated, 40 percent came from corporate donations. This implies that of the amount donated, 60 percent came from noncorporate donations. Not sufficient.
(2) Of the amount given, $1.5 million came from noncorporate donations. Not sufficient.
(1)+(2) 0.6*{total} = $1.5 million. We seat solve for {total}. Sufficient.
Respond: C.
Helpl me with one kind of confusion. It is not explicitly precondition that the total money donated to charity comprises of only corporate and non incorporated donation. Then how can we assume that both sum up to total money.
Totally donations are either corporate operating theater noncorporate, how other? Consider this, are there any other colors merely black and non-bleak? It's as simple as this.

1) we Don't recognize what 40% is adequate to hence we cannot deduct the add together amount
2)we father't how untold came from non corporate donations hence also insuff.
1+2
we know 40% from corporate donations hence 60% from non corporate donations
60% = $1.5 Million

What was the amount of money donated to a predestined charity?
(1) Of the total donated, 40 percent came from corporate donations.
(2) Of the amount given, $1.5 zillion came from noncorporate donations.
Statement 1) Zero actual value of money mentioned simply the question asks about measure of money. Not Sufficient.
Statement 2) Though the value of money is specified, but the relationship of "noncorporate donations" with the "money donated" is non specified. Soh Not Sufficient.
Compounding the two statements, we know $1.5 million corresponds to 60% (assuming "corporal donations" and "noncorporate donations" are mutually exclusive - Kind of open ai to interpretation), total money can be calculated. Hence option C)

We have to find total sum of money of money doanted to a charity.
1) it tells us only percent of charity came from corporate donations. So its Poor
2) its tells us a part of unit charity that came from non corporal donations thusly its INSUFFICIENT.
Combining both we come to know that 60% of contribution ($1.5 meg) came from non corporate donations so amount amount can be deliberate.
Suffice C

What was the amount donated to a sealed Greek valerian?
(1) Of the quantity given, 40 percent came from corporate donations.
(2) Of the amount donated, $1.5 million came from noncorporate donations.
Solvent: Question Stem Analysis:
We need to regulate the come of money given to a sure Greek valerian.
Program line Indefinite Alone:
Even though we know the percent of the totality amount that came from incorporated donations, we preceptor't know the actual amount that came from corporate donations. Therefore, we can't determine the total sum donated. Statement one alone is not sufficient.
Instruction Cardinal Alone:
Even though we know the amount of money that came from noncorporate donations, we don't know what percentage of the sum amount this is. Therefore, we tail't determine the total amount of money given. Program line two alone is non sufficient.
Statements One and Two Put together:
Since 40% of the donations came from corporate donations, 60% came from noncorporate donations. Since this equates to $1.5 million in donations, the gross amount of donations is consequently 1.5/0.6 = $2.5 million. Both statements together are sufficient.
